CuSeeMe Video Conferencing

PrydeLands Global Technologies has utilized the full potential of the internet for over a decade. With the use of inexpensive equipment and software we have hosted several global video conferences.

We have been recruited on a number of campuses to host and manage video conferences between groups. PrydeLands first implemented use of this form of technology in 1993 while working with IGC, ECONET, and Herbert H Lehman College. We configured and organized synchronize international teleconferences worldwide to commemorate Earthday. Participation included New York, Canada, Scotland, Italy and Japan. Participants shared scholarly papers on environmental conservation with Robert F Kennedy Jr. as the keynote speaker.

In 1997, PrydeLands held another video teleconference for The College of New Rochelle (New York) and University of Edinburgh (Scotland). The educational institutions had the opportunity to hold online classes in real-time with two classrooms of students in a cultural exchange program. American student in scotland and scottish students in america we able to interact with each other live through streaming video in several sessions. This added greatly to the cultural exchange program by allowing the students to make comparisons while still experiencing the other culture's style of education.
